Program Educational Objectives

PEO 1. Knowledge: To possess the fundamental knowledge and technical competence to cater the healthcare needs of the society and articulate the expertise and apply it for contemporary problem solving in manufacturing, marketing and pharmaceutical care services.

PEO 2. Professionalism: To demonstrate professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate Pharmaceutical Sciences issues to broader social context.

PEO 3. Leadership: To participate as responsible and ethical leaders in fields of Pharmacy and in activities that support service and economic development of the society.

PEO 4. Career: To pursue advanced education, research and development, and other creative and innovative efforts in drug discovery, formulation and manufacturing and healthcare services as well as other professional careers.

PEO 5. Self-Sustainability: To demonstrate sustained learning and adapting to rapid changes in the field Pharmaceutical science through continuous education, professional development, and self-study.

Program Outcomes

PO 1. Demonstrate the knowledge of pharmaceutical and basic sciences to identify, analyze and solve the problems in manufacturing, marketing and healthcare services

PO 2. Ability to design and conduct experiments, to analyze and interpret data.

PO 3. Design, formulate and analyze product and processes to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health, and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.

PO 4. Demonstrate the ability to plan and implement professional activities.

PO 5. Function effectively as individual and part of team in diverse and multidisciplinary areas to accomplish tasks.

PO 6. Act efficiently as a leader in the diverse areas of the pharmacy profession.

PO 7. Ability to communicate effectively and sustain in different environments and culture.

PO 8. Ability to use current techniques, hands-on skills, and modern tools to be productive recourse for organization through self-motivated lifelong learning
