National Science Day was celebrated on 28th February 2022 by Cultural Club, GIPS .It was started with lighting of lamp by Chief gust Mr Dipak Singh,Guest of honor Dr Pranjal Saikia,Associate professor Dept of Chemical Science,IST,Gauhati University,President,SSA and Principal GIPS. Welcome speech was delivered by Mr Ratul Das, President SSA. Professor Gauranga Das, Principal GIPS highlighted the significance of National Science Day by describing Raman Effect. Chief guest Mr Dipak Singh Highlighted the use of science and technology together for sustainable future and Guest of honour Dr Pranjal Saikia delivered a talk on Solar Hydrogen generation.
The Institute Megazine “Pharmazone” has been released by the Chief guest Mr Dipak Singh,Director,Ozone Pharmaceutical Private Limited.
A state level scientific Poster competition named “Decipher” was conducted on the topic “Innovative idea on research” and total twenty group of students from different Institute participated in the competiton.The whole dat programme was successfully completed and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Smriti Rekha Chanda Das,Coordinator,Cultural Club.
